Medicaid continuous enrollment will unwind due to the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023. The Hawaii Department of Human Services, Med-QUEST Division will mail letters to Medicaid members beginning this March, letting them know which month their eligibility will be re-determined. The eligibility renewal process will begin in April and last for 12 months, ending March 2024. The process will occur in phases and members will NOT be reassessed all at once.
