A Medicare Special Enrollment Period (SEP) has just been announced for persons who were on Medicaid during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. If Med-QUEST notified them that they will lose Medicaid coverage on or after January 1, 2023, and are eligible for Medicare, they qualify for the SEP.
